Suniel Shetty will be seen next playing the role of an antagonist in a Tamil film titled Darbar, starring South megastar Rajinikanth in the lead role. Suniel Shetty’s first look from the film was released a few days ago, and shows Suniel in a rugged look, raising our curiosity about the film. Well, Suniel Shetty is excited about the film too and at the audio event launch, Suniel mentioned that it is an absolute pleasure and brilliant experience for him to be a part of Darbar and work with Superstar Rajinikanth.
Now, in an interview with Bombay Times, Suniel Shetty has shared his experience of working with Rajinikanth in Darbar. He said that they both got along well because there was a lot of respect for Rajinikanth. He said he hasn’t seen a simpler and honest man. He talked about his humility despite being such a huge star. Suniel Shetty mentioned that while he said his dialogue, Rajini sir would stand and clap for him, and it was surreal and he ticked a big box on his bucket list, having worked with Rajinikanth. He said, “He used to come in an ordinary taxi which the company used to hire, no Range Rover, no Mercedes. Quietly he and his team would sit outside and eat. It was unbelievable. God has plans and he blesses people with certain things and it is because of this that Rajni sir is where he is." Darbar stars Rajinikanth, Suniel Shetty, Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jeeva, Nivetha Thomas, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah, among others. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is slated to release on Jan 10, 2020.
